This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use traderwaves.com, the TraderWaves web application, the TraderWaves iOS and Android applications, planned desktop applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Information We Collect

Account and Contact Information

  • Name, email address, country, account credentials, and account preferences.

Mobile App, Device, and Session Information

Trading and Financial Data

When you connect accounts, import files, or upload trading information to TraderWaves, we may collect account connection data, account credentials or tokens where applicable, imported data, balances, equity, trade history, performance metrics, trading journal data, and related financial analytics. We use this data to provide analytics, journaling, reporting, account features, and other product functionality. We do not sell your trading data or share it for third-party advertising.

User Content

We collect content you create, upload, or save in TraderWaves, including journal notes, strategy notes, templates, tags, profile images, journal images, uploaded files, support messages, and other content you choose to provide.

Subscription and Purchase Information

If you purchase a subscription or paid feature through Apple App Store, Google Play, Paddle, a future crypto payment option, or another supported payment provider, we may collect or receive product identifiers, transaction or order identifiers, subscription status, renewal status, cancellation or refund status, payment status, currency, and related billing metadata. We do not collect or store full credit card numbers for Apple App Store or Google Play purchases.

Usage, Analytics, Diagnostics, and Marketing Data

We collect information about how you interact with the Services, including product interactions, pages or screens viewed, features used, clickstream data, performance data, crash reports, error logs, and other diagnostic data. We currently use analytics tools such as PostHog and Google Analytics, and may use email marketing tools, advertising pixels, cookies, SDKs, or similar technologies for marketing, retargeting, measurement, and product improvement where permitted by law and platform rules.
