Reviews FAQs
Finding reviews
TraderWaves Reviews is a public directory of broker and prop firm ratings and reviews. Use it to explore feedback shared by other traders before carrying out your own research.
Open the Reviews directory, choose Brokers or Prop Firms and search for the provider’s name. You can also sort the results to explore highly rated, popular or frequently reviewed providers.
Public provider pages are created when a provider has at least one published review. If you cannot find a page, the provider may not have a published review yet or may not currently be listed.
TraderWaves uses an adjusted rating based on published reviews, with verified reviews carrying more weight. This helps avoid treating a provider with one review in the same way as one with a larger review history. See how verification and ratings work for the full calculation.
Leaving a review
To leave a review:
- Find the provider in TraderWaves Reviews.
- Select Leave a review and sign in to TraderWaves.
- Choose your star rating and add a written review if you want to.
- Submit the review and verify your email address.
Your review must be email verified before it can appear publicly.
Yes. If you do not already have one, you will need to create a free TraderWaves account in order to submit your review. This lets you publish, view and edit your review. You can also connect a trading account so your review receives a Verified trading experience badge, which gives it more weight.
No. You can submit a star rating without adding a written review, although a useful comment can give other traders more context.
No. You can leave one review per provider. If you submit another review for the same provider, it will update your existing review rather than create a duplicate.
Your review can appear publicly after you verify your email address. Until then, it remains private and is not included in the provider’s public rating.
Verification and privacy
It means TraderWaves matched a connected trading account to the provider being reviewed. It does not mean TraderWaves agrees with the review or endorses the provider.
No. You can publish a review after verifying your email without connecting a trading account. It simply will not receive the Verified trading experience badge.
Connect a supported trading account associated with the provider you reviewed. If TraderWaves can match that account to the provider, the review can receive the Verified trading experience badge. See supported brokers and platforms for available connections.
No. The public review may show that your trading experience was verified, but your account details, balances, trades and login information are not displayed.
Troubleshooting
First, check that you completed email verification. Also make sure you are viewing the correct provider and remember that updating a review replaces your existing submission. If it is still missing, email info@traderwaves.com from the address linked to your TraderWaves account.
Check that you selected the correct Broker or Prop Firm view and try another spelling. If the provider still does not appear, it may not have a published review or may not currently be listed.
Check that the connected account belongs to the provider you reviewed and that the review has been published. If the account is connected correctly but the badge is still missing, see how verification works or contact support.
