Algo Licensing Guide

Follow these simple steps to login, download, and set up your algorithm licenses and EA installation on TraderWaves.

1. Login to TraderWaves

Login to TraderWaves with the same email you used for purchase. If needed, reset your password using the password reset page.

3. Download Your Algo

For each algo you own, you will see the version number along with a download button. Download the algorithm file (ex4/ex5) directly from this page. New versions will be posted here as they become available.

4. License Management Setup

Navigate to the "license management" tab on the algos page. Enter the account number of your trading account (usually provided by your broker via email). Make sure you enter the account number in the correct field based on your license type – live or demo.

5. Enable MT5 Permissions

Allow MT5 to communicate with our licensing server by navigating to Tools > Options (or press Ctrl+O) and selecting the "Expert Advisors" tab. Enable "Allow Algorithm trading" and "Allow WebRequests for listed URL". In the URL section, type traderwaves.com and click "OK".

6. Install Your Expert Advisor

Place the downloaded ex4/ex5 file inside your MT4/MT5 Experts folder. The easiest way to locate this folder is to click File > Open Data Folder, then navigate to the Experts folder. You can create a subfolder for better organization if desired.

7. Refresh Your Terminal

After installing the EA, close the file explorer and refresh your Navigator Expert Advisors (press Ctrl+N and click "Refresh") or restart your terminal. Your Algo should now appear and be ready to apply to your chart.
